Snaps for length adjustment.
Waist cord prevents flapping in strong wind.
Seams are taped for waterproofness. Extreme version sewn with expanding cotton/polyester thread and a proprietary tunnel seam.
The Bivy Poncho is an extremely robust and versatile companion that fits in any backpack. It can be used as a poncho, bivybag or tarp.
To fit varying body sizes and backpacks, it can be adjusted in length both front and back. In windy conditions, the belly cord can be tied to counteract flapping. The A4 size waterproof inner pocket doubles as a convenient stuffsack.
The eight loops in the corners and sides serve as guy points for use as a tarp. By closing the snap buttons along the edge, the poncho can be sealed on all sides to convert it into an emergency bivybag.
